Lollicup Tea Zone - San Gabriel (Closed)

It's funny how some people are stuck on certain chains and certain locations. For instance, I prefer the Tapioca Express Inc. - San Gabriel. But once, after meeting up with a friend for lunch at Luscious Dumplings Inc. - San Gabriel, instead of going across the street to Tapioca Express, her husband specifically wanted to go to this Lollicup Tea Zone.

The only one I like is the Lollicup Tea Zone - Westminster (Little Saigon) for the matcha green tea slushie.

This Lollicup is located in the same strip mall as Mei Long Village - San Gabriel and J & J (Jin Jian) Restaurant - San Gabriel.

I don't even remember who I was with and which drinks we ordered. I just feel like Lollicup drinks aren't quite as good as Tapioca Express, which is a step down from the fresh brewed tea houses.

But Lollicup is decent enough for when you're in the mood for tea. And this location has frozen yogurt, which was kind of a big deal before frozen yogurt places cropped up everywhere too.

But the drinks are just a tad more expensive than Tapioca Express too.

August 22, 2011 update:
This location is now a Tea Time.

Other tea shops:
Half & Half Tea House - Monterey Park
ID Cha House - San Gabriel
Le Arbre Tea House - Rosemead
